- It is Rumored to be launch in 2021. It will be available in Plastic or metal frames. It Will display information on both lenses. iPhone will be dependent for data not for cameras, and it will support LiDAR.
- It aims to be fashionable, not geeky Gesture controls is expected in it. Will have UI called Starboard.
- The price range will start from $499
- Apple is eyeing to get as many patents related to smart glasses which may include force, temperature, moisture, displacement, capacitance, brain activity (e.g., EEG ), muscle activity (e.g., via force sensors ), and/or heart rate.
- Apple is trying to address all the problems that AR VR HMDs are facing such as motion sickness and people who have vision problems
- The latest four patent applications are broadly concerned with detecting and working with the real and virtual environments around a user
- Apple glasses will use gaze-tracking system in the head-mounted device that means the device may determine which portion of the display is being viewed directly by a user
- Apple is using occlusion techniques for hand tracking and is using principles of heat so that user can interact with outside objects because of difference in heat between two objects
- So whatever your finger touches, there is going to be a transfer of heat. "Smooth changes in temperature can be indicative of a touch between two objects that recently happened at the sampled position," according to the patent
- If you’re wearing Apple Glass and you look at your iPad screen, AR will make it appear to you as if there is a normal display on that device. And you can see data on the Apple Glass screen.
